Please remember in your prayers William "Bill" Madsen, 71, who died Nov. 3. He was a professor of counseling psychology in the Graduate School of Education (now the College of Education, Leadership and Counseling) at St. Thomas from 1975-93.
Bill is survived by his son Dan Madsen, grandson Donovan Madsen, granddaughter Dana Madsen, and his sisters Mary Nystrom, Carol Anderson, Linda Johnson and June Cooper.
In retirement, Bill served the congregation at Desert Palms Presbyterian Church by directing their scholarship programs. He volunteered at Habitat for Humanity and the food shelf in his free time.
A memorial service was held Friday, Nov. 6, at St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Eden Prairie. Read his obituary online.
