Opus College of Business Wins Promotional Excellence Award

The University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business has been selected as the winner of the National Association of Graduate Admissions Professionals’ (NAGAP) 2010 Promotion of Excellence Award.

The Promotional Excellence Award recognizes best practices in using social media to engage prospective students. The Opus College of Business is being recognized for its combined use of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and blogs to create an engaged and growing on-line community. Clark Gregor, managing editor of the Opus Magnum blog, will accept the award of behalf of the college at the NAGAP annual conference April 21-24 in San Francisco, Cal.

Past award winners have included Florida International University College of Business Administration, Marymount University, Purdue University and Pepperdine University.

The National Association of Graduate Admissions Professionals (NAGAP) was created in 1987 and is the only professional organization devoted exclusively to the concerns of individuals working in the graduate admissions and recruitment environment. The mission of NAGAP is to support, advance and engage graduate enrollment professionals by promoting integrity, excellence, and collaboration through education and professional development. It currently has 2,000 members.
