Did you know that from Sept. 9 of last year through April 12 of this year, tuition dollars are covering the cost of your UST education? After April 12, however, other sources of revenue, such as contributions from alumni and friends of St. Thomas, are paying the bills.
The Student Legacy Committee will host “It Takes More Than Tuition Week,” April 12-16, to provide more information about the tuition gap and what you can do to help.
Stop by the Student Legacy table that will be set up from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. outside the Grill all week. Free prizes will be given away each day, and $5 raffle tickets are available for a chance to win a $500 gift certificate to the UST Bookstore.
The week’s events include:
- Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, April 12, 14 and 15: Free T-shirts to the first 50 students.
- Tuesday, April 13: Free cupcakes.
- Friday, April 16: Raffle drawing for $500 Bookstore gift certificate (need not be present to win).
