Explore Career Opportunities During the Pathways to Social Sciences Event

Students interested in pursuing careers in the social sciences are invited to attend the Pathways to Social Sciences event Tuesday, April 9. The event will take place from 2:45 to 6 p.m. in the Woulfe Alumni Hall on the third floor of the Anderson Student Center. Registration deadline is Tuesday, April 2, in person at the Career Development Center, Murry Herrick Campus Center, Room 123.

Pathways to Social Sciences is sponsored by the Minnesota Private Colleges Career Consortium and is in its 10th year of connecting students and alumni. Four break-out sessions will be held in the areas listed below and will feature alumni from private colleges in Minnesota who will share their expertise. An opportunity to ask questions will be available.

Registered students can choose to attend two of the following break-out sessions:

  • Human services (direct service)
  • Nonprofit (administrative positions)
  • Criminal justice/protective services
  • Government (urban planning, policy, administrative)

A reception with alumni will follow the break-out sessions.
