Estetica St. Thomas, a new salon and day spa, will open to the public Tuesday, Sept. 4, on the lower level of Anderson Student Center.
The salon will host an open house, with stylists on hand to offer services, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1.
According to co-owners Andrew '87 and LeeAnn Jurgens, "Estetica St. Thomas is an AVEDA concept salon, carrying a full line of AVEDA products." Among the services offered are haircuts, which will start at $30; color and highlights; high-fashion hair styling; manicures; pedicures; make-up; and facial waxing services.
The salon will be open noon to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Estetica St. Thomas is the second location to Estetica Salon and Day Spa, which for 20 years has been a full-service "AVEDA Lifestyle Salon and Spa" located in St. Paul's Cathedral Hill neighborhood in the Blair Arcade Building off Selby and Western avenues.
Estetica supports the community by donating to local fundraising and providing monthly makeovers to women who are transitioning from shelters into a new life. Like AVEDA, Estetica strives to conduct business in an environmentally sustainable manner and is known for its culture in creating an atmosphere of positive energy and relaxation for its guests.
