Applying for pre-health programs?

Personal statements often are considered the single most important piece of writing you’ll do in your college career, and they can make or break an application. St. Thomas has partnered with the University of Minnesota Health Careers Center to provide access to the online training module “Writing a Pre-Health Personal Statement.”

The module is free for all St. Thomas students and provides interactive activities and video interviews with deans of admissions about what admissions committees are looking for in a personal statement. At the end of the short course, you can choose to submit a draft of your personal statement to a pre-health adviser for one-to-one feedback.

To take advantage of this opportunity, follow the “U of M Short Courses” link on the right-hand side of this College of Arts and Sciences Pre-Health Professions Web page.
