St. Thomas provides 100 memberships that neighbors may purchase to use the Anderson Athletic and Recreation Complex (AARC) on the main campus.

Members must be 18 years old. Please note that AARC generally is closed when the university is closed (over Christmas break, for example), so be aware of the restrictions before making your purchase.

Visit the AARC website to buy a community membership. Click "I Don't Have a UST ID" after you hit the "Sign Up" button on the right.

The gym, located just west of the Cretin and Grand avenue intersection, offers recreational opportunities at reasonable family prices. For information on gym and pool offerings call 651-962-5925 or visit the McCarthy Gym Website.

Neighbors of the University of St. Thomas may borrow books from the O'Shaughnessy-Frey Library with a valid Friends of the Library card. A neighbor is any adult at least 18 years old who lives south of Highway 94, north of Jefferson Avenue, west of Fairview Avenue,and east of the Mississippi River. Click here for more information.

The Selim Center for Lifelong Learning (formerly the Center for Senior Citizen Education) is a community outreach program which presents educational and cultural programs specifically designed to foster and support lifelong learning.
