Repertoire and CMP Unit Plans Suitable for Use with the Middle School Female Treble Choir
The intent of this project was to discover information about comprehensive musicianship unit plan formats and goals, as well as the history behind comprehensive musicianship. In addition to the information about comprehensive musicianship, there was also a need to research information about the female treble voice as well as the female treble singer at the middle school age level. Then, from the information discovered about comprehensive musicianship and the female treble voice, develop a series of repertoire unit plans that would be suitable for use with a middle school female choir. The goal of the project was to support middle school choir directors that teach gender separate choirs in the repertoire selection process for the middle school female voice that will also inspire and empower their female singers.
