Anna Marie Landis

J.D. candidate, 2020

After graduating from the University of St. Thomas with a major in Psychology and a minor in Catholic Studies, Anna Marie Landis served the Permanent Observer Mission of the Holy See to the United Nations through a fellowship program offered by the Murphy Institute. During this year of immersion into multilateral international diplomacy and experience working for the Catholic Church, Anna Marie decided to further develop her knowledge and skills at the University of St. Thomas School of Law. Participating in the Murphy Student Scholar Program has been instrumental in Anna Marie’s law school experience, by integrating her Catholic faith into her study of law and connecting her to contemporary Catholic professionals and thinkers—all in the context of a community of supportive, engaged peers. Outside of law school, one could find Anna Marie playing the piano and cello, reading poetry by Mary Oliver and Denise Levertov, or enjoying a hot cup of coffee with friends.
