J.D./M.A. Catholic studies, 2018

I am currently in my third year at UST Law School. Originally, from a small farm and a small high school in west central Minnesota, I ventured to the urban for college, attending UST for my undergraduate studies, graduating in 2015. My studies ranged widely in undergrad with a major in political science—specifically with American politics—balanced with minors in Catholic Studies and Physics. Further, my passion for travel has enhanced my classroom learning. I studied abroad in Rome to explore Theology and Catholic Studies and I have also studied in Eastern Europe analyzing post-Soviet states and the ethical and political choices made therein. Just as I have achieved this balance between academics and experience in my studies, I look forward to the intersection of morality, ethics, and law that brings about public policy. Looking forward to my graduation in 2018, I see myself working in government relations and public policy for the state of Minnesota.
