Erika Bachiochi

Jurisprudence of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and professor Mary Ann Glendon

Erika Bachiochi is a legal scholar specializing in Equal Protection jurisprudence, feminist legal theory, Catholic social teaching, and sexual ethics.  She speaks widely on abortion, sexual economics, the impact of the new sexual norms on women and the poor, care ethics, and authentic reproductive justice.

As a Murphy Institute Research Fellow, Bachiochi will be working on a book that offers a contrasting look at the life work and jurisprudential visions of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Harvard law professor Mary Ann Glendon
