Catholic Studies Living Learning Community (LLC)

The Catholic Studies living learning community is a community of friendship and faith.  Students in the LLC take THEO 101 and PHIL 115 together, both of which are required courses for all students.

Participants live together in the Catholic Women’s Community in Dowling Hall or the Catholic Men’s Community in Ireland Hall. You are welcome to participate in events and programs such as Sunday Mass and brunch, evening prayer, and Eucharistic Adoration. Students participate in a number of informal social events, including get-togethers with faculty, cultural events (such as plays and concerts) in the Twin Cities, as well as providing service to the local Twin Cities community.

If you are interested in living in the Catholic Women’s or Men’s Communities but are not in the paired courses, you should indicate your interest on your housing application to be considered for the Men's and Women's Catholic Special Interest Communities.

You do not be a Catholic Studies major or minor to participate in the LLC or the Catholic Interest Community.
