Please join the LDCW, Latin American and Caribbean Studies, and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies as we close Women's History Month with a movie night--a screening of the documentary Cuban Women in Revolution, directed by María Torrellas. 

There will be snacks! 🙂 

About the documentary:  

WOMEN IN REVOLUTION

 “a tribute to the revolutionary women of Cuba” directed by María Torrellas.

"The documentary depicts eighty-four minutes of life stories framed around the role played by Cuban women, from the struggle in the Sierra to the present day. Scientists, doctors, students, artists, activists, real women, united in a common thread of the economic, political and social change brought by the revolution."
