Tarana Burke shares the story behind the genesis of the movement and provides words of empowerment that lift up marginalized voices, enabling survivors across all races, classes, and genders to know that they are not alone.
For her remarkable work, Burke was recognized by TIME Magazine as the 2017 Person of the Year, as well as The Root 100's most influential person of 2018.
