Polar explorer, environmentalist, and educator, Ann Bancroft is the first woman in history to cross the ice to both the North and South Poles.

Her love for education and the wilderness powerfully merge to inspire youth around the world to follow their dreams and create change. The Ann Bancroft Foundation provides opportunities for girls throughout Minnesota.

Ms. Bancroft’s memoir, No Horizon is So Far, explores the challenges and triumphs of her work. Copies will be available for purchase.

Cake reception and book-signing to follow the lecture.
