Joining the military at the young age of 19-- right out of high school--I had very little idea what was ahead of me. I had seen military movies and had family members that served so I thought I knew what I was getting into, but, in reality, I had no clue. Through multiple deployments and trainings, my military experience has taught me about many realities I never thought I would face, and it is an honor to share my story and life learned lessons as a female veteran.
