Please join us for our 2015 March Women's History Month lecture featuring Winona LaDuke. The title of her lecture is "Women and Native Struggles: Toward Ecological Transformation".

Native American activist and advocate for environmental, women's, and children's rights, Winona LaDuke (Ojibwe) is founder and co-chair of the Indigenous Women's Network. She is also the founder and campaign director of the White Earth Land Recovery Project, a reservation-based environmental organization.

The LDCW Book Club will be discussing All My Relations in preparation for her lecture: February 25, 12:00-1:00pm.

Following LaDuke's lecture, a brief reception will be held in the lobby outside of the auditorium.

The Luann Dummer Lecture Series features a distinguished woman speaker each March, Women's History Month.  Established in 1994 through a gift from the estate of Dr. Luann Dummer, the lecture series is open to the St. Thomas community and the public.
