
Highlighting Female Veterans
The University of St Thomas, Minnesota, in cooperation with the History Department, Women’s Studies, the Luann Dummer Center for Women, and Veterans Services, has focused on female military veterans for the academic year 2018-2019. This is a chance to highlight these brave individuals through their particular point of view.
This project has included:
- November 28, 2018: LDCW Book Circle, Soldier Girls: The Battles of Three Women at Home and at War by Helen Thorpe; Discussion led by Director of Veterans Service Norman Ferguson, Jr.
- November 30, 2018: Feminist Friday with Air Force Veteran Molly White: “Expectations and Reality: A Female Veterans Perspective”
- "Speaking with Veterans" Podcast hosted by Director of Veterans Services Norman Ferguson, Jr., who sits down to talk with student veterans here at St. Thomas. Check out the podcasts here: Highlighting Female Veterans
