Jan Evans has more than 30 years of experience litigating complex, high stakes disputes. Jan has litigated in federal and state courts across the country in class actions and complex commercial matters. She has participated in the joint strategic defense of multi-venue class actions involving numerous parties, as well as collateral bankruptcy proceedings, and she has appeared before the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation. Jan has litigated on behalf of institutional investors against leading Wall Street banks in antitrust class actions venued in multidistrict litigation for billions in investment losses. She has advised boards of directors and senior executives of Fortune 500 companies on legal claims and strategies having significant impact on corporate objectives.

Jan was lead attorney in a nationwide gender discrimination class action, a nationwide Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) misclassification class action, and an age discrimination class action. As lead attorney, Jan managed litigation teams ranging between five and 30 attorneys, paralegals, document review teams, and administrative staff in defense and prosecution of complex cases. Jan has also represented companies in defense of individual- and group-initiated employment claims and has litigated non-compete and trade secret matters.
