Jason is an attorney at the law firm of Gray Plant Mooty.
Prior to joining Gray Plant Mooty, Jason served as a Vice President and Wealth Strategist for Northern Trust and a Senior Vice President and Manager of Wealth Management Services for Securian Trust Company, N.A. Previously, he practiced law at a firm he cofounded and also spent time as a Wealth Advisor at Piper Jaffray.
Jason earned a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of St. Thomas and his Juris Doctorate from Hamline University School of Law. He holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation, FINRA Series 7 and Series 65 licenses and is an adjunct faculty member of the University of St. Thomas School of Law.
He is also active in the Minnesota State Bar Association, currently serving as Co-Chair of the Probate & Trust Legislation Committee, and is the Secretary of the Board of Directors of Living Well Disability Services.
A native of Rochester, Minnesota, Jason presently lives in Southwest Minneapolis, Minnesota with his wife and two children.

|Description of course 879 :||This course will focus on the theory and practice of estate planning, including the role of planning to avoid or defer gift, estate, and generation-skipping transfer taxes, and will study the ways in which planning impacts the administration of estates and trusts after death. Wills, Estates and Trusts is a prerequisite for this course.|
