CRN: 43244 3 Credit Hours Instructor: Jennifer B. Mojica, Virgil O. Wiebe This course will explore issues under the immigration, nationality and naturalization laws of the United States. Students will study the laws relating to refugees, political asylum, citizenship, and deportation. They will examine the social and political policy underpinnings of these laws as well as the constitutional basis of the power to control immigration and the constitutional rights of aliens seeking admission to or resisting deportation from the United States.
