Carmeann Foster joined the St. Thomas Law community in 2016 as a Faculty Research Fellow. She is the recipient of a Bush Foundation grant to support her research aimed at reducing the number of black youth in the juvenile justice system. She works with our law students and social work students on this study in conjunction with the Community Justice Project. Carmeann has a B.A. from St. Catherine University and a J.D./M.S.W. from St. Thomas. She is completing her Ph.D. at Hamline.
