12:30 PM - 1:25 PM

Have you ever wondered what it is like to live with a learning disability like dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, or ADHD? The Dyslexia Simulation offered by the Special Education Clinic and the Diversity and Inclusion Committee offers a chance to increase your cultural competency by experiencing first-hand how these learning disabilities affect a person’s ability to process and produce language. We will be presenting a series of hands-on, participatory exercises prepared by Dyslexia Associates, a local teaching and assessment center. Spend an hour in the shoes of someone living with a learning disability; it will change your view of the world!
Current students are asked to RSVP by April 11. The link is on OneStThomas.
