Emerging Compliance & Ethics Leaders Network Event

A group for emerging leaders in the complex field of compliance and ethics.

Date & Time:

Thursday, April 15, 2021
7:30 AM - 9:00 AM

The Emerging Compliance & Ethics Leaders (ECEL) Network is a group for aspiring leaders in the complex field of compliance and ethics. ECEL events are intended to provide professionals who are building their careers with a comfortable and relaxed forum where they can meet and talk with peers about issues they face every day.

All ECEL gatherings are held on the third Thursday of the month in January, April, July and October. Meetings allow emerging leaders a chance to network, exchange ideas, and share thought leadership with their colleagues.

Normally held in person, April's meeting will be held online via Zoom.

The guest speaker will be Adam Briggs, chief compliance officer at Mayo Clinic. His office develops and implements compliance strategies for all sites within the global Mayo Clinic organization, and oversees compliance-related policy, training, monitoring and corrective action, with the goal of maintaining the trust of patients, employees, regulators, and the public. Briggs joined Mayo Clinic in 2019 after a decade at UPS, during which he served in a variety of legal and compliance leadership roles, both at the company’s Atlanta headquarters, and in the Asia-Pacific Region. He began his legal career as a regulatory and litigation attorney with Godfrey & Kahn, a Wisconsin-based law firm.

If you would like to join the ECEL networking group and meet the next generation of compliance and ethics leaders, please email Colleen Dorsey. A Zoom login link for the meeting will be sent out before the meeting. You will also be included on the distribution list for all future event communications. Membership is free.
