Led by Adam Brown, Assistant Director, Career & Professional Development

Date & Time:

Location:

MSL 244

An externship is a great way to gain practical, hands-on experience, build strong professional relationships, and expand your network. In addition, externships provide course credits toward your experiential learning requirement. St. Thomas Law provides Judicial, Compliance, Public Interest, Misdemeanor Defense (Public Defenders), and Business externships. Students that have already taken an externship may be eligible to take an advanced externship with the same or similar placement. This semester, we have students placed with a variety of judges, companies, businesses, government entities, and organizations. Adam Brown will be holding an information session (unfortunately, there is not a budget to provide food, so please feel free to bring your own). This info session covers externships for both Summer and Fall 2020. Students are eligible to take an externship once they have completed their first-year courses, and many students do externships during the summer after their first year. Please let Adam know if you have any questions now. Otherwise, we will see you at the info session.
