Advent is a time of waiting, but a time of active waiting. It is a time during which we prepare ourselves to welcome Christ into our hearts, our home, and our world.

This Mid-Day Reflection is designed to aid in our time of “active waiting” by inviting us to reflect on some of the Old Testament narratives that foreshadow the Incarnation as well as the portions of the Gospels of St. Matthew and St. Luke that prepare for the coming of Christ. It will also invite us to reflect on the particular ways we need God to be with us during this time of year.

As lunch will be served, please RSVP to Angela Dzik at amdzik@stthomas.edu.
