Tommies are Changemakers. We make positive societal impacts to address social problems, drive change and advance the common good.
That's why the GHR Foundation has partnered with the St. Thomas Opus College of Business to create the GHR Fellows program. The program reflects the vision of GHR Foundation founder Gerry Rauenhorst, who believed that entrepreneurial creativity inspires solutions that improve lives.
The GHR Fellow program is designed for students from across the world who share this vision and will provide them with the resources, skills and leadership development they need to make it a reality.
GHR Fellows receive:
- Full tuition and fees for four years (and may, pending demonstrated financial need, receive grant funds that cover room and board at St. Thomas)
- A fully funded study abroad experience
- Customized professional coaching and mentorship
- Leadership development opportunities and internships with Fortune 500 business executives and community leaders
Who is eligible?
To be eligible for a GHR Fellowship, you must:
- Be an incoming freshman pursuing a business degree
- Demonstrate superior academic achievement (minimum GPA 3.7, ACT 28)
- Model the values of GHR Foundation and University of St. Thomas by demonstrating a commitment to ethical, globally aware and community-engaged leadership
How do I apply?
- Complete the online application (including the two essays)
- Submit two letters of recommendation
- Finalists must attend an on-campus scholarship day on Feb. 23, during which they will interview with the scholarship committee and participate in a competitive design challenge
Coming in from out of state? Part of your trip to St. Thomas could be reimbursed through our Fly-in program.
