Why did you apply to become a student interfaith leader? "I am interested in learning how to better foster interreligious understanding in my community here at St. Thomas and in my future career as a physician scientist."
What are your hopes, dreams, and plans for life after UST? "My plans for after UST are to pursue an MD/PhD program to become a physician scientist. I hope to pursue medical research that will enrich our basic understanding of medicine while improving communication between researchers and phsyicians. I hope to use my experience in interreligious understanding to build positive relationships with both collegues and patients."

Why did you apply to become a student interfaith leader? "I want to learn about and from varying religions. I was also excited for the hands-on experience this course offers by promoting visiting places of worship."
What are your hopes, dreams, and plans for life after UST? "After college I hope to live meaningfully. Not quite sure where that will take me, maybe I will become a climate crisis activist, perform research in conservation biology or #vanlife. Either way, I dream of facilitating positive change and empowering others."

Why did you apply to become a student interfaith leader? "I am from an interreligious background (4 different faiths) where interreligious encounter is a constant. I hope to develop my theoretical and practical understanding of interreligious encounter in order to apply it in my life."
What are your hopes, dreams, and plans for life after UST? "I hope to either get a PhD in economics or work full-time as an actuary (or possibly both)."
