Our specialists can provide production support and consultation services for academic and institutional media, including online video content, studio recordings, event playback, recording and streaming, and digital conversion. Our main goal is to help make your production as informative and engaging as possible.
- Academic Media Production – The STELAR Center collaborates with faculty from start to finish to create targeted and meaningful media for online or blended courses. STELAR provides a dedicated studio space for instructors to record their own media. In addition, our techs can assist you with posting and sharing your finished videos through Panopto, our media hosting service. Learn more information about media services in the STELAR Center.
- Studio Media Production – St. Thomas has a fully equipped, state of the art HD studio in the lower level of OEC that can be reserved for recording a variety of academic and institutional productions (web testimonials, welcomes, interviews, demonstrations, training and instruction). - Event Media Production - Our event support team is available to assist, collaborate and consult on the most effective presentation of your pre-recorded or streaming media in event spaces across the St. Paul and Minneapolis campuses. Recording or live streaming of events is available upon request in compatible spaces where appropriate video and audio technology is built-in. - Media Conversion/Duplication - Video, audio and other media content can be converted to and from a variety of digital and analog formats. For an additional fee, our team can assist with copying media content to portable drives, or duplicated on DVD and CDs.
