VPN for Remote Desktop

Overview

In order to ensure the security of your private data, the University of St. Thomas has implemented a Virtual Private Network (VPN). The VPN is available to Faculty and Staff, allowing remote connections to a University owned PC office computer from an off-campus PC or Mac computer. In order to use the VPN, a browser plug-in is required to be installed on the off-campus computer, which will perform a verification of minimum requirements. Once the minimum requirements have been verified, the VPN will make a secure connection to the University of St. Thomas network allowing remote access to a computer on campus. Please check the minimum requirements needed in order to make a secure connection through the VPN. You may follow the directions below to initiate a remote session once all requirements have been met.

If you would like to connect using a UST laptop from off campus please see our VPN Network page.
