Room/Residence Hall

There is no additional charge to live on campus during J-term if you are living in campus housing in the fall and spring. If you enroll for spring semester, you may request housing prior to the start of spring semester, on a limited basis, during J-term at no additional cost.

STUDENT HEALTH INSURANCE

Health insurance is required of all F-1 and J-1 international students. Upon registering for classes, international students are automatically enrolled in the St. Thomas Sponsored Student Health Insurance Plan.

F‑1 international students who want to waive the St. Thomas-sponsored health insurance plan must submit their U.S.-based health insurance information (waiver must be submitted by the deadline and insurance must meet the minimum coverage requirements.)
