Maria Florencia Tischler, Associate Regional Administrative Coordinator, holds a degree in Political Science and International Affairs from Northeastern University. She is currently working on her thesis to receive her master’s degree in International Administration (MAIA) from the University of Miami. Tischler’s work experience began when she conducted legal research involving low- and moderate-income families in the Venezuelan courts while she was a student of Law at Universidad Central de Venezuela. Her work in Boston included student leadership at the college level, housing issues for low-income families, and the participation in the creation of the first Hispanic after school program in Lynn, Massachusetts at La Vida, Inc. Tischler taught ESL classes for Latino janitors as part of a Clinical Study in Community Based Advocacy at Harvard Law School. In Miami, she worked with Cuban rafters as Program Manager for the Cuban/Haitian Refugee Resettlement Program.
Germán R. Eiras, Technology Consultant, received his degree in Administrative Sciences, with a concentration in Management, from the Metropolitan University. He was the Vice President of Finance and the Committee Organizer of the Employee Fair "Contacto Empresarial" from September 2001 to April 2002. At present, Eiras functions as Coordinator of the Career Center of the Metropolitan University, and will soon receive his degree of Specialization in Integrated Communications.
Carlos A. Morales, Regional Technology Advisor, is Senior Programmer and Technical Lead at Quilogy, Inc., a Global Systems Integrator and Microsoft Certified Gold Partner. He has over six years of IT, networking, and software development experience, helping companies across the U.S. to solve complex business problems. Based in Des Moines, Iowa, Morales holds a Computer Sciences degree (BS), as well as Microsoft Technology certifications. The companies he has worked for include Pella Corporation, Northshore Long Island Jewish Hospital, Microsoft Corporation, Florida Department of Agriculture, and Darden Restaurants, among others.
Isabel Cristina Yepes Machado, Communications Consultant, graduated in 2006 from Universidad Católica Andres Bello with a degree in Journalism, and a concentration in mass media. She has extensive experience working in rural communities to support the empowerment of citizens. Currently she works as a Press Department Coordinator at ESTIMA Comunicaciones Inc. In addition, she is finishing her studies to become a professional soprano.
Angela Francis, Communications Consultant, is currently a bilingual personal banker at Wells Fargo, where she has provided financial services to the public for the last four years. She holds Series 7 and Series 66 NASD licenses to work as an Investment Consultant. She is an active member of HOLA ("Heritage of Latino Americans"), a nonprofit organization for the local community at Wells Fargo. She earned her BA in Architecture from "La Universidad del Zulia" (LUZ) in Maracaibo, Venezuela.
