Jeffrey Maleska

Third Year Law

Jeffrey Maleska is originally from St. Joseph, Minnesota. He was a double major during his undergrad years, receiing degrees in both Political Science and Spanish Culture and Literary Studies from the University of St. Thomas. Jeff went straight from undergrad upon graduation to starting law school, once again being at the University of St. Thomas. As a research assistant, Jeff co-authored the article, "Helping Each Student Develop Affirmative Evidence of Cross-Cultural Competency" with Professor Neil Hamilton. Jeff is an RA directly under Professor Hamilton working on a number of research projects while also working for Felhaber Larson outside of school. As a research assistant for the Holloran Center, his main tasks revolve around researching legal employment outcomes and competencies as well as editing articles. Apart from being a student and RA, Jeff is a managing editor of the Law Journal. When asked what being an RA has taught him, Jeff said, "Working as a research assistant has been an incredible experience. I gained confidence researching and writing, developed competence working on a team, and formed life-long relationships. Without hesitation, I would attribute much of my present success to the Holloran Center."
