Our Facilities and Capabilities

The Health and Human Performance Department is located in the Anderson Athletic and Recreation Complex. 

Our area consists of a Biomechanics Lab, Physiology Lab, classroom and Computer Lab. 

Biomechanics Lab

In the Biomechanics lab students and faculty conduct research into the movement of the Human Body. 

Physiology Lab

In the Physiology Lab students will be able to perform tests on:

1. Basal metabolic rate

2.  The fat burning zone during exercise

3. VO2 max and anaerobic threshold

4. FEV (1.0 second), VC, peak expiratory flow rate (PEFR) 


HHP Computer Lab

The computer lab consists of  24 PCs, a DVD player and cameras upon request. Many of our instructors use this lab for student assignments.  The following programs are offered in our computer lab:
