Immunizations

Undergraduate Students

The state of Minnesota requires that all undergraduate students born after 01/01/1957 be immunized against diphtheria and tetanus (TD), and measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) and provide their vaccination dates.

Undergraduate students are to enter the following information in myHealthPortal:

  • 2 MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) vaccination dates
  • 1 Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis) vaccination date within the last ten years

Note:  Only registered students have access to myHealthPortal (new students will be able to log in the day after registration).

The following immunizations are also recommended for students but not required. They can also be entered into myHealthPortal.

  • Hepatitis A
  • Hepatitis B
  • Influenza Vaccine
  • Meningitis
  • Human Papilloma Virus (HPV)

For complete review of childhood and adult vaccine immunization schedules, see the CDC Immunization Schedules.

Graduate and Professional Students

Graduate and professional program students are encouraged to provide their immunization information to assist in clinical care and/or travel health, but it is not a requirement.  Registered students can enter their immunization records into myHealthPortal.
