The Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) is required by all medical schools, and tests knowledge of the following areas:
- Biological & Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems
- Chemical & Physical Foundations of Biological Systems
- Psychological, Social & Biological Foundations of Behavior
- Critical Analysis & Reasoning Skills
A Fee Assistance Program to help reduce the cost of preparing and registering for the MCAT is available to those who qualify.
Students wishing to enter medical school directly upon graduation from St. Thomas should plan to take the MCAT by spring of the prior year.
