Congratulations Gilman Scholarship Recipients

The Office of Study Abroad is proud to announce that three St. Thomas students were awarded the Gilman Scholarship for their study abroad programs during the 2021 academic year. Recipient Alondra Cruz Garcia is studying in Italy this January. Recipients Mumtas Mohamed and Marie Ervin will be studying in England and Panama, respectively, this spring.

The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program is a US Department of State grant program enabling students of limited financial means and underrepresented students to study or intern abroad.
