Scholarship Recipients

As part of reunion activities in past years, the class of 1995 endowed a scholarship that has since helped students to make the most of a wonderful opportunity to attend St. Thomas. Below is a note of gratitude from a recent recipient!

“I would like to sincerely thank you for the help I have received through the Class of 1995 Endowed Scholarship. I deeply appreciate your financial support of my time at the University of St. Thomas.

I still remember the day I received my notification of award letter. My eyes fell on the amount I had been awarded, and they filled with tears. My hard work had paid off, and the generosity of St. Thomas and its donors became tangible. I cannot express my gratitude to this class enough!

It is rather humbling to realize that individuals whom I have never met are contributing to my education. Thank you!”

As this endowed scholarship increases in size with additional annual contributions as well as investment income, more Tommies will be able to benefit from the generosity of alumni of the class of 1995. Alumni know firsthand the value of a St. Thomas education, and the university's goal is to put that opportunity within reach for all academically qualified students. Reunion giving helps the effort!

Alumni provide critical resources to St. Thomas, and through their philanthropy, every year they show new students what it looks like to give back and pursue the common good. We gratefully acknowledge alumni who gave financial gifts last fiscal year in support of a St. Thomas education.
