Chris Fahey

As Director of Parent and Family Giving, I oversee the Parent and Family Giving program. In my role, I have the privilege of working with parents and families who wish to support the mission of St. Thomas through their philanthropy.

There are many ways parents and families give of their time, talent, treasure and testimony to support the mission of St. Thomas. One of the ways is through the Parent and Family Philanthropic Council (PFPC) – a unique opportunity for parents to get involved and make an impact at St. Thomas. Members of the PFPC make annual gifts of $10,000 or greater and direct their philanthropy in support of areas of passion for their family. Last year, more than 840 parent households, with enrolled students, gave $2.49 million to support their areas of passion at St. Thomas. Thank you, Tommie parents!

I am originally from St. Paul and attended high school at St. Thomas Academy. Prior to joining the University of St. Thomas in 2015, I spent most of my early career working in fundraising roles across the country in support of higher education and public broadcasting. In 2021, I graduated with my MBA and joined the ranks of the proud Tommie alumni network.
