What you need to know: Changes to the IDEA system
NEW - IDEA web site
Beginning summer 2017, the IDEA student feedback system is moving to a NEW online platform, hosted by Campus Labs. All St. Thomas faculty need to become familiar with the new IDEA online system and with the changes to the feedback forms. Even if you previously had your IDEA course evaluations administered online, you will need to learn about the new system and forms. IDEA Information Sessions
If you haven't heard yet the IDEA student feedback system is moving to an online platform for administration beginning summer 2017. With the transition, we get access to some new and improved features, and getting up to speed is especially crucial for anyone teaching a summer course because that's when we'll begin implementation.
All faculty and staff were encouraged to attend an information session to learn about changes to the IDEA Student Ratings of Instruction (SRI) instruments and best practices for increasing response rates. The session was facilitated by Tara Kai from the IDEA Center and covered how to:
- Select learning objectives on the OSF (formerly the FIF)
- Add custom questions
- View your reports
