Faculty-led Summer Seminar Call for Proposal

Proposal deadline: April 1, 2016 by 4:00 p.m.
2016 Summer Seminar Proposal Form

The Faculty Development Summer Seminar is a multi-day seminar designed, organized, and led by St. Thomas faculty to support professional development in the areas of pedagogy, engagement of the profession, or service. Seminar leaders receive a stipend for designing, organizing, and facilitating the seminar, and funds are available for seminar materials.

The proposed seminar topic should be general enough to appeal to faculty from all areas from across the university. Seminar proposals that are NOT broad enough to include all St. Thomas faculty should be directed toward the Faculty-led Interdisciplinary Group Grant.

The dates of the proposed seminar should, if possible, avoid overlapping with the Writers’ Retreat and the Writing Across the Curriculumseminars (June 6-10) and the Course Design for the Common Good workshop (June 14-16).

To submit a proposal download the 2016 Summer Seminar Proposal Form and email to Faculty Development by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 1, 2016.  The seminar topic will be selected by faculty in mid-April.
