Distinguished Early Career Grant Recipients

Dr. Matthew Batt (English), Dr. Adam Kay (Biology) and Dr. Eric Rawdon (Mathematics) were each awarded the Distinguished Early Career Grant (DEC) for AY 2015-17. This award recognizes and supports early career faculty who have a distinguished record of ongoing scholarship. Awardees receive three course releases from teaching for scholarly work over a two year period to advance their scholarly agenda at a generative moment in their career.

University Scholars Grant Recipients

Dr. Corrine Carvalho (Theology) and Dr. David Penchansky (Theology) were each awarded the University Scholars Grant (USG) for AY 2015-18. The USG award recognizes faculty who have attained a distinguished record of ongoing scholarly achievement while at St. Thomas doing full time teaching or its equivalent and have earned a national or international reputation for their work.
