Getting students to address their privilege, power and learned racism is neither easy nor welcomed. In this workshop, Stephen Brookfield (Leadership, Policy and Administration), Amy Finnegan (Justice and Peace Studies), Tréza Rosado (English, Dougherty Family College), and Starr Sage (Health and Human Performance) will share their approaches to raising these contentious issues and having students stay open to conversations about them.

This workshop is part of the Inclusive Classroom Institute and is open to all faculty whether or not they intend to pursue certification.
