A recent survey indicated that many faculty do not know how to interpret the data found in their IDEA feedback reports. Yet understanding the report is essential for making the most of student feedback to enhance teaching success. All faculty are welcome to attend this session on tips for using IDEA reports effectively.

This workshop led by Dr. Ann Johnson, Director of Faculty Development, focuses on helping all faculty understand their IDEA data and on ways to use it to inform your own self-evaluation and plans for the following semester. During the workshop, Ann will highlight coming changes to the set of IDEA questions, and cover best practices for faculty to:

  • Incorporate IDEA objectives into your syllabus
  • Interpret the Feedback report
  • Use data from the feedback report to enhance teaching
  • Identify other relevant resources

This workshop is open to all faculty, adjunct and full-time.
