LinkedIn – Amplifying Your Expertise by Amplifying Others

Wednesday, November 15, 11:00 a.m. - Noon

Do you remember the old Faberge commercial: I’ll tell two friends, and they’ll tell two friends, and so on and so on… That is the power of social media today, and the power of LinkedIn is exponential as you connect with former students and professionals in your field. Learn how to showcase your research or your work with students utilizing LinkedIn’s publishing tools. In this session you will learn about the university’s LinkedIn strategy for amplifying faculty expertise, how you can best leverage that strategy on your profile, and best practices for sharing your work and that of your students. The Tommie Network is strong and you can be a key connector for your students and colleagues.
