Research is Me-Search

English majors and minors are invited to learn more about exciting student-faculty research opportunities, writing projects, and grants available to them.

Date & Time:

Tuesday, October 10, 2017
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Free and open to current and prospective English majors and minors

O'Shaughnessy-Frey Library, Leather Room (Room 108)

Are you the one in class who always wants to keep diving deeper and deeper? Are there subjects you've been dying to explore but aren't encountering in your courses? Have you envied science majors who get to work in labs and help professors make discoveries? Well, you too can do this!

Make your English major more meaningful by designing your own project with the support of a Young Scholars, Excel! Research Scholars, Collaborative Inquiry Grant, or a Luann Dummer Center for Women (LDCW) Undergraduate Research Fellowship. Even get behind the scenes as a research assistant to a professor.

Join English majors and faculty for a discussion of their research and writing projects and learn how you can apply to enter the world of research.

A pizza lunch will be included! If you plan to attend, please RSVP to by Wednesday, October 4th.

We hope to see you there!

All programs offered by the University of St. Thomas shall be readily accessible to individuals with disabilities. For details, call (651) 962-6315.
