Career Highlights:

As leader of the Medtronic CRHF Regulatory Affairs function, Ms. Rita Guzzetta is responsible for strategy creation and implementation, talent development, delivering approvals to support all therapy area portfolios and driving functional excellence.

Ms. Guzzetta has held previous roles at Medtronic, including Sr. Director of Heart Failure & Tachy Quality, Supplier Quality Director and Attain Ability 42/4396 Core Team Leader. She has had responsibility for post market vigilance of active-implantable, high-power products, FDA and TUV audits, FDA and competent authority inquiries, physician interaction on product performance, support of Tachy and Heart Failure General Manager staffs, new product development and commercialization, 483 and warning letter responses and remediation, leadership of the Medtronic Supplier Quality Council and business unit quality cultural initiatives, as well as Sourcing and Risk Management quality system architecture.

Rita has been with Medtronic over 17 years and has 25+ years of product development, sourcing, operations and regulatory affairs experience in the Medical Device industry. Her previous roles include positions with St. Jude Medical, DiaSorin, and the University of Minnesota Hospital and Clinics.
