Career Highlights

Dr. Rajan Menon has more than 35 years of experience in fluid mechanics and flow diagnostics and held various positions in the industry. As Principal Scientist/Director of Market Research at TSI, he was involved in technology and market development for flow and particle diagnostics. Prior to that, he was Product Manager and was involved in technology transfer of patented ideas for product development and worked with university research teams to develop innovative measurement systems and technologies.

He has co-authored more than 50 papers relating to optical instrumentation, laser diagnostics, signal processing, data analysis, and flow and particle diagnostics. He has held numerous seminars and symposia throughout the world on these topics. He is a member of ASME and ASME Auxiliary Board, a past member organizing committee for the Lisbon Conference on the Application of Laser Techniques to Fluid Mechanics. He was a member of the AIAA Aerodynamic Measurement Technology Committee, and an Associate Fellow of AIAA.
