Welcome to the Diversity Activities Board (DAB) homepage! DAB is a student programming board for the University responsible for bringing educational programs focused on diversity and inclusion. We are allocated 20% of the student activity fee and use that money to plan programs such as lectures, music, workshops, community building, cultural celebrations, and various other social justice events. We hope you will take advantage of our programs to learn more about yourself and others. As we build mutual understanding, our community grows closer and we are better prepared to work together both in and outside the classroom.

We are a student programming board advised by Student Diversity and Inclusion Services. Our programming emphases include education, enrichment and engagement on social justice and inclusion. This ties to our Tommie Advantage co-curricular educational priorities of self-understanding, connecting, acting wisely, and embracing our differences. The programming group also provides consistent event advising and funding support for the large traditional events hosted by our cultural student organizations.

The Diversity Activities Board strives to provide enriching and engaging educational programming in the areas of social justice, diversity, and inclusion. We are a programming committee with the intent on serving our student body and actualizing the mission of the institution by advancing the common good. Our programs help others learn to respect the human dignity of all people and embrace our differences.
