Introduction

Lauren (she/her) is currently entering the final year of her doctoral Psy.D. program at the University of St. Thomas where she received her M.A. in Counseling Psychology in 2020. She utilizes relational, person-centered therapy and cognitive behavioral techniques to connect, engage, and explore the client’s sense of self and experience of the world while instilling hope, highlighting client strengths, and teaching usable skills.

Lauren enjoys working with individuals with invisible and visible marginalized identities. Her clinical interests include anxiety and depression, cultural/racial identity exploration in biracial and multiethnic individuals, sexuality and gender identity exploration, spiritual identity exploration, ADHD, and autism. In her free time Lauren enjoys gardening, crochet, and wood carving.
